Success Criteria
What were the successful strategies?
How did you the teacher get them to the end result?
Where to from here? Whats next?
Very engaging class. Students were enthusiastic and all got
involved (bar 1 or 2) in the Shakespearean insults. I think I
presented the content in an exciting and fresh way.
Students did not achieve the learning intention but I think it
was the way I wrote the intention as it was not logically
achievable in this lesson.
The successful strategies was the think, pair, share before
doing the brainstorm and all students seemed to be engaged
and contributed.
Telling the students to pick their own groups was a risk so it
will be interesting to see how they work in these groups
tomorrow.

Strengths

Start of the class was very well run.


Students read silently and you checke
that they were all on task.

The video and meme were funny and


were a good way to engage students
the topic of Shakespeare.

The lesson had a variety of activities


that catered for all different learning
types. There was writing, reading,
speaking and moving out of their sea
Areas for Improvement.

Not really. At times students became


bit noisy but this is to be expected
given the nature of the activities in th
lesson. You spoke to the students and
got them to focus on the task.
