    Dear (whom this may concern),


    As a young and motivated individual I am extremely interested in submitting an application for the
    advertised position with company.
    As a student I have been extensively involved in my school community, which has allowed me to develop
    strong interpersonal skills. My involvement in various events, including co-curricular activities, interschool
    competitions and school carnivals, has allowed me to work closely with my peers while supporting the
    school community as a whole. My teachers and employers have commended me for my punctuality,
    friendly personality and academic abilities. My motivations include extending my knowledge and the
    successes associated with completing challenges. I have also received many awards for my commitment
    and attitude towards studies.
    I am currently working part-time as a crew member at McDonalds (location). My responsibilities in this
    role include providing face-to-face customer service, preparing requests and keeping the restaurant
    orderly at all times. This position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to
    experience working in a professional and fast-paced work environment.
    With regard to my ability to meet the specific requirements of this job:

    Customer Service: Worked for over a year in a face-to-face customer service environment
    providing service at registers, dining areas and to vehicles.

    Problem Solving Skills: With the unpredictability of the job, I have had to deal promptly with odd
    requests, complaints and machine malfunctions.

    Teamwork Skills: As a crew member I work efficiently among others with varying skills,
    experiences, personalities and ages.
    I understand that you will receive a large number of applications for this role. I do, however, believe that
    my determination, commitment and pre-existing skills will allow me to fit into your work environment and
    immediately start supporting the needs of your organisation.
