    Regarding: Transfer of IQBAL SINGH SIDHU from FCI
    Mendota to Herlong, CA.
    This letter is concerning my husband, Iqbal Singh Sidhu, currently
    serving his 9 years sentence in FCI Mendota from March 26, 2013. I,
    Chanpreet Kaur Sidhu, have moved to the United States from India
    in 2012 after our marriage in 2010 and my In-Laws have moved
    here in 2013.
    Since his arrest and subsequent imprisonment, me and my In-Laws
    (father and mother of Iqbal) are living at the same house. I have to
    take care of my In-Laws as well as look after the small business that
    we have to sustain our family under this difficult circumstance of
    living without our loved one. We want to visit Iqbal every other week
    but its a 4.5 hours drive from Reno, the place where we live. Hence
    its very difficult for us to travel for so long and see him regularly.
    This is mostly because I am not accustomed to driving for such long
    distance and his parents are not in good physical condition to travel
    this far. For your information, Iqbals mother has heart disease and
    high blood sugar and his father suffers from pain on his disks of the
    spinal column.
    For this reason under humanitarian ground we humbly request you,
    if it is possible please transfer him out from FCI Mendota and
    relocate him at Herlong prison in CA. Herlong is just 45 minutes
    drive from Reno. As I have explained we are quite new here in Reno
    and are currently facing emotional and financial crisis due to his
    imprisonment. If you allow for this transfer this will provide us with
    some comfort at this hard time. Being able to see our loved ones
    often will certainly help us to cope with living without him, as we
    love him very much.

    be ever so grateful if you approve this request.
