    Dear Sir:
    One of the major thrusts of our department is to prepare its students to enter the world of
    real work after graduation. Thus, we require our fourth year students to undergo an on-the-job
    training program of 250 hours.
    Mr. John Albert P. Mercado is one such student. We would highly appreciate it if your
    firm/ office/ agency can accommodate this student as a trainee. At the end of the training, we
    would also appreciate an evaluation of the students performance on the job.
    Our agreement will not entail any financial obligation on your part. Neither will you be
    liable for any accident that may occur during the students training period.
