SUMMARY OF CLINICAL ACTIVITIES
I have experience in delivering evidence based care using a variety of instruments and agents, including
experience with ultrasonic/cavitron, subgingival chemotherapeutics, application of antimicrobial agents,
radiographs, sealants, local anesthesia, and administration of nitrous oxide. I am dedicated to delivering
the best care possible to all clients and have extensive experience with special needs patients. My care
encourages patient participation and involvement in oral hygiene care and instruction.

TEACHING NARRATIVE
My teaching experience has been focused on informal classroom instruction. I am versed in giving
classroom presentations in dental hygiene programs and for my senior undergraduate presentations. I have
experience teaching one-on-one with patients and at health fairs and educating the public about oral
health. Prior to hygiene school, I spent over 8 years teaching small groups of children origami and other
crafts.

MENTORING NARRATIVE
My mentoring experience has involved informal mentoring of undergraduate classmates at Chabot College
dental hygiene program. We assisted our colleagues with freshman year challenges, while offering advice
with regards to school preparation, clinic and working experience.
