in Charge (P.I.C.);
• Assisting in crew safety & pre-tour meetings, assisting supervisors
in emergency preparedness plans, safety equipment inspection;
• Assisting in conducting emergency drills as required &
maintaining documented compliance with applicable regulatory
authorities;
• Monitoring crew Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reports, and incident
reports;
• Conducting new personnel rig orientation.

Position: Rig Safety &Training Advisor (RSTA)

Note: I joined the Company as a Rig Safety and Training Coordinator (RSTC)
then I w as promoted to Rig Safety and Training Advisor position (RSTA).

Responsibilities:
• Coordinating Company’s offshore training programs.
• Coordinating completion of rig crew onshore training and
certification requirements as required by Company, Client and
applicable regulatory bodies.
• Maintaining and adequate inventory levels for Safety equipments.
• Conducting daily rig safety inspections together with respective
departments.
• Conducting onboard Weekly Crew Safety Meetings.
• Providing advice to operations management on HSE matters.
• Assisting the HSE Manager in the development and
implementation of HSE training programs.
• Assisting with the preparation of emergency response plans,
procedures and drills.
• Investigate accidents and dangerous occurrences and implement
means of preventing a reoccurrence.
