Symptoms of Color Blindness

Common symptoms of color blindness include:
Difficulty distinguishing between colors.
Inability to see shades or tones of the same color.
Rapid eye movement (in rare cases)

How is it inherited?
The gene which is responsible for the condition is
carried on the X chromosome and this is the reason why
many more men are affected than women.

Treatment
There is currently no treatment for inherited color blindness.
Color filters or contact lenses can be used in some situations to
enhance the brightness between some colors and these are
occasionally used in the workplace, but many color blind people
find these actually confuse them further rather than help.
