Usage Notes
This CD contains the NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING on
MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING
System requirements:
This software runs on any IBM compatible Pentium PC having WINDOWS98,
WINDOWS2000 or WINDOWS XP operating system. It may run on other windows
platforms though we have not tested this CD on them.
For good response minimum RAM size of 128 mb is required.
Please set the video to 800 x 600 with 16 or 32 bit color.
Installation:
No specific installation is required for running the CD. The Software can be run directly
from the CD itself.
The autorun feature is enabled so the software runs just by inserting the CD in the
CD-ROM drive. In case the autorun feature is disabled you may manually start the
software by double
and press GO
The software requires Flash Player. In case your system does not have flash player
installed, you may install it from the CD. The Flash player setup program is available in the
Flash Player folder in the CD. Alternatively you may also download the latest flash player
from the site www:macromedia.com for free.
Usage:
The software runs for about 90 minutes. This time may vary depending on the time the
student spends on each scene. Between scenes you are requested to press the next
button to move to the next scene.
If you notice clipping at the borders, please adjust the video resolution to 800 x 600. This
can be done by right clicking on any vacant area (non icon area) of the desktop and
access properties setting screen resolution. Move the slider bar as required.
The print out has been adjusted for an inkjet printer. So the printed output may vary a little
if a different printer is used. You may adjust the default setting of the printer before starting
the application to correct any variations.
The following diagram describes the different buttons and their functionality:

Please note that few of the buttons are active only when voice over is available.
EXIT
Exits the application.
Close
Button
PREVIOUS
Takes you to the previous scene.
NEXT
Takes you to the next scene. By pressing the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons in a
sequence the user may replay the same scene.
