Support students with an identified disability in their learning needs. The support learning unit has formal meetings
with parents twice a year to discuss and work on their child's individual academic, social, emotional and well being
needs as well as an open door policy anytime parents wish to discuss issues related to their child. In addition to coordinating classroom support, the learning unit has programs and groups within the school including;
Speech and language support programs
Age appropriate literacy programs

Scores obtained can help persons with self-awareness, self-understanding and making plans for schooling and/or
career choices. Reports can be used by professionals as well, as in assessing for career planning, school placement
and problem diagnosis. For example, when diagnosing ADHD, learning disabilities and dyslexia, it is important to
rule out mental retardation.
