Based on the IE Matrix, TMP is on the I quadrant. This means a Strong IFE and a High
EFE. IFE of Toyota shows that there is a harmony on the internal section of it especially in
functional areas of the organization because its weakness and strength has been identified quite
well. These will help the company audit its system, prevent making expensive mistakes,
minimize errors, and think of strategies that will make them maintain what they are today. If the
company audit its internal environment then one must audit more the external side. Toyota
should be cautious of the external environment. It can either be an opportunity for additional
success or a threat that can lead to their downfall. Toyota must evaluate its existing strategies
including economic, social, technological, government, political, legal and competitive
information. The IFE and EFE together with SWOT Analysis, extracted from deep analysis, will
make Toyota be aware of the good and bad things in and coming their way.
