The students, faculty, and staff of WSP collected an amazing 1,630 cans

class this year is Mrs. McCulloughs class with 204 cans. Her class will
receive a movie and pizza party sponsored by Movies & More. Several
students received prizes from the drawing for bringing in 5 or more cans
and Thomas Pace-Patton received the grand prize basket for bringing in
the most cans with 108 cans. Thank you to everyone that donated to
make our Holiday Canned Food Drive a huge success!

The PTO is sponsoring a student Christmas Gift Shop

from December 2nd through 4th. The Christmas Shop
will be located on the stage in the lunchroom, and will
be opened from 8:15 until 11:55 each day. The

small gifts for their family members and friends. All
proceeds from the shop will benefit the PTO to help
fund projects throughout the year such as Teacher

*If parents would like to shop in the Christmas Shop
with their child we ask that they come during the

The Christmas season is a special time in the life of a child and it is my

desire to see every student experience the gift of giving. Unfortunately,
we have students in our community whose Christmas may not be filled
with joy and excitement. Would you consider joining me in contributing
to our districts Christmas for Kids campaign and brighten Christmas for
families around us? Donations will be collected at our main office and
during our Christmas programs. Lets make a difference together!

Caring

Thanksgiving feast!

The character trait for December is caring. Caring people are kind and
try to help others. At school we can be caring to others by helping our
classmates if they need help with a math problem or showing a new
student where the nurses office is. Putting other peoples needs
before your own will show you care. Caring for others will often make
others care about you, and that can help you feel good about
yourself. People value and respect caring people.
