Course Title Course Code Credit Hours SLT Prerequisite Semester Course Description This course will introduce students to the historical and pedagogical factors related to information technology and its use in primary schools in Malaysia. The use of technology in is crucial to enhance teaching and leaninig. Several theories dealing with the using technology is discussed. Students will be able to understand the importance of technology in improving the teaching and learning process. Required Text: Lever-Duffy, Judy. (2011). Teaching and Learning with Technology. Pearson. Learning Outcomes By the end of this course, students should be able to: 1. Explain the importance of computers in the learning environment. 2. Apply related theories and concepts in integrating technology as an educator. 3. Discuss the different software available for primary learning environment. 4. Discuss issues relating to integrating technology in the learning environment. 5.
