Reading Bulimia

Bulimia is an eating disorder. A person with bulimia eats a lot of food and then compensates in extreme ways, like forced vomiting or excessive exercise, to prevent weight gain. To be considered bulimia, this should happen regularly, at least twice a week for a couple of months. Over time, these steps can be dangerous. Although anorexia and bulimia are very similar, people with anorexia are usually very thin and underweight, but those with bulimia have a normal weight or sometimes overweight.
