Hyundai Atos also called as Atoz, Amica, or Santro Xing. This is the first modern Hyundai city car released in 1997. The second generation of Atos was released in 2004. The model had different than the first version especially in the headlamp style.
Go to the Atos engine, its was equipped with G4HC Epsilon straight-4. This was 999cc and the maximum speed was 150 km/h. Then, the "new" atos (Hyundai Amica / Santro Xing / Atos Prime) had 1086 cc came with G4HG engine.
For more specific information, the first generation of Atos that equipped with G4HC engine had 61 hp power at 5700 rpm, while the maximum torque was set to 3000 rpm. This engine is 4 cylinder and displaces 1.0 L (999 cc) with a larger 66 mm bore and 73 mm stroke. The newer version was G4HG. Keep used 4 cylinder but the displaces was set to 1.1 L (1086 cc). The engine size was 67 mm bore and 77 mm stroke. Has more power 64 hp that can be reached at 5500 rpm and torque at 2800 rpm. Those engine had 12 valves, SOHC. Hyundai epsilon engines known to be quite reliable and powerful if cared for properly. These engine were suitable for daily use in the city. Given its small capacity, G4HC and G4HG engines less suitable if used for long trips.
