Work Experience
CTN Animation Expo Burbank, CA Volunteer Staff: November 14-16, 2013 Assisted attendees and participants by providing directions and information about artist exhibits and workshops. Cashier at Expo store, selling CTN Animation Expo merchandise, as well as books, movies, and prints for signings. Helped organize and control lines for artist signings and workshops. Mound Elementary School Ventura, CA Office Assistant: February 2011 - June 2011 Handled notifications to Day Care facilities of change in pick-up times for students on shortened school days through professional phone calls to supervisors. Always completed tasks efficiently (creating registration packets for incoming students, hanging posters for talent shows, restocking and organizing shelves in supply room, signing in visitors to school grounds) and sought out new tasks to complete. Commended by supervisor for accomplishing each days work ahead of time, while keeping quality of work high. Self-starting by immediately beginning to accomplish tasks even with minimal to no supervision. Trusted with filing student information and quickly distributing mail to 30+ staff members mailboxes. Scofield Catering Company: LA Marathon Los Angeles, CA Crewmember: March 2011 Arrived at 5:30am, prepping food truck by stocking shelves with concessions to ensure efficient service during Marathon. Drove through streets of LA in an open vehicle during rainy weather to assemble sandwiches and lunch packs for runners and staff. Assisted runners onto food truck and served hot beverages during the rainy weather. Worked with other staff to break down and clean up truck and surrounding area at 7:30pm for days end. Food Fair: Buena High School Ventura, CA Crewmember: April 2010 Part of a six member team of students during a school-organized event that occurred biannually. Moved between 5 different stations to aid in the creation of enough hand-made pizzas to feed hundreds of high school students and staff throughout the event. Maintained a high quality product to stay competitive with other sales and keep profits up. Prepped for one hour to lay out supplies and ingredients. Two hours of making pizzas (before and during Food Fair), and one hour for clean-up. California Scholarship Federation (CSF): Santa to the Sea Half Marathon Oxnard, CA Crewmember: Dec 2010 Joined other members of CSF to help set up for Marathon by moving materials, crates of supplies, and whatever was asked of us by supervisors. Spread out along the Marathon course to cheer on and support runners and keep up morale.

Buena High School Sept 2009 June 2012 Graduated with two golden seals on diploma for academic excellence, and received the honor of walking first at graduation with other students who earned recognition. Completed and passed AP classes and tests, earning college credit: AP US History, AP Eng. Lang. and Comp., AP Eng. Lit., AP Govt., and AP Microecon. CSF membership for four years; maintained a high GPA and completed volunteer work. California State University, Northridge August 2012 Present Double Major in Animation and Recreation and Tourism Management. Projected graduation date in 2016. Current GPA of 3.2.
