Method This could be a main activity. People are split into different groups and people from each group compete in different activities throughout the morning, collecting points for wins with one final elimination type activity for the top 3-5 teams to declare a winner. Ideas for the different activities: three-legged race, passing the marble, passing the hula hoop, jigsaw puzzle, Two people have a leg each tied to each other and have to run the race together. Each person in the group is given a tube (paper/ plastic) and each group is given a marble. The goal is to pass the marble using only the tubes without dropping it. Each group stands in a line, holding hands. One person has a hoop over his or her right arm. The hoop is passed down the line without letting go of hands. The group that finishes first is the winner. People throw ping pong balls to try to knock down bottles. People throw hoops to try to get them around objects. People will guess the number of items in a jar. Maybe some familiar item that has meaning to RSC. People will submit their guesses throughout the day and the winner announced at the end of the morning. Some kind of non-messy food since we are indoors and have to consider implications of spillage. Non-competition. Paint patterns or pictures on peoples' faces. Requires people with the ability to paint. Non-competition. Draw caricatures of people. Requires people with the ability to draw caricatures. Non-competition.
