Dont let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4.12
We are looking at a pretty full week once again. Iowa Test of Basic Skills will be administered this week. There is not much you can do to prepare for these except make sure your child gets plenty of rest, has a good breakfast and brings water to keep at her/his desk. We started growing crystals in egg shells last week and are keeping track of the development of the 4 different kinds. On Wednesday we will have a Molecule Fair and students will be able to look at various ideas and projects produced by the members of the 5th grade. We will continue with our reading of Johnny Tremain -this book goes well with our Social Studies unit on the American Revolution.

Notes April 8-12: Iowa Basic Skills Tests April 19: Thrift Shop -- half-day of school April 26: Parents in Prayer meeting - 10.30-11.30 May 3: Golden Week Holiday --no school May 8-9: 5th grade campout -- information to follow

Bible Memory no memory work -- unit 11 test on Friday

I have been enjoying the ISP presentations so far. 5th graders are hard workers and I hope you will be able to attend your childs presentation. We should be all finished with these by April 18 and then the students will have a chance to share their projects with one another. They will also be able to see the art project each one made for their respective ISP. Tentative date for this is April 24 at 2.15-3.00. If you are able to come at that time, please feel free to do so.
