    Scheduled power interruption in parts of Cagayan The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) serves notice of the scheduled shutdown of some of its transmission facilities in these areas: Date: 31 July 2012 Time: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM Affected Distribution Utility: * Cagayan Electric Cooperative II (CAGELCO II) Reason: Repair of substation equipment at CAGELCO IIs Magapit Substation serving Magapit-Lucban 69kV line segment Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. NGCPs customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption. *Specific cities and municipalities to be affected by the power interruption are determined by the abovementioned Distribution Utility (DU), unless the activity affects the entire franchise area. The DU allots the available power within its franchise area and implements the power interruption schedule among the end-users.
