ABSTRACT

The need for electrical energy has always been increasing
from year to year, due to increased economic growth and social
welfare. The increase was marked also by a few things such as:
1. Industry and Business Development of more advanced
2. Population growth by itself will lead to increased electricity
consumption.
3. Equipment that requires electrical power growing
But the increase is not accompanied by the completion of
arrears by the problem of low voltage customers. PLN has established
a policy that the customer is delinquent bill for a month should receive
temporary disconnection sanction. Facts on the field, often a conflict
between the customer and the clerk. And limited personnel resources,
making the process takes a long time. Therefore, this final project has
been designed for ease of field officers in conducting power outages.
In this thesis, has designed a prototype breaker connection
for low voltage customers remotely through a router. To disconnect
and reconnect customers electricity is done by clicking the ON or
OFF button on the website that has been created. The command will
be received by a router integrated with the microcontroller, then
processed and a command ON or OFF will be forwarded to a relay
driver that serves to disconnect or connect the flow of electricity. Data

transmission depends on the signal strength of the router being used
as well as the state of the environment.
The results of this final project are expected to be used by
governments, especially PT PLN (Persero) in controlling the use of
electricity by low voltage customers.
