Sweet and gentle round yoke sweater is one of the loveliest things to wear. It’s easy to layer with many different styles and it’s comfortable and light. Old School sweater has all the traditional makings of a good sweater: a little Lace, some pretty Stockinette stitch and the most wonderful mixture of yarns.

Old School sweater is worked easily in one piece from top down. The lace is easily remembered and fun to work, but also makes it a fun knit.

The sweater is worked in collaboration with La Bien Aimée.

Yarn: 2 (2, 2, 2, 2) (2, 3, 3) skeins of Helix by La Bien Aimée and 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (3, 3, 4) skeins of Mohair Silk by La Bien Aimée held together. Approx. 890 (1000, 1090, 1200, 1330) (1470, 1600, 1730) yards 820 (910, 1000, 1100, 1220) (1340, 1460, 1580) meters of the two yarns together, approx equivalent of sport to light DK weight yarn.

Sample knit in size L and in colors Cassiopeia (Helix, gray speckle) and Parchment (Mohair Silk, light grey).

Finished chest measurements: 36 (40, 44, 48, 52) (56, 60, 64)” / 90 (100, 110, 120, 130) (140, 150, 160) cm. Choose a size with approx. 4-6” 10-15 cm of positive ease.
