This Hat & Cowl was designed and named after my great granddaughter! I wanted to design something fashionable and warm for her. The band on this hat is made using a Foundation Half Double Crochet, which makes it very comfortable and stretchy! The hat has lots of rich texture too, but it’s easy to make and works up quickly! The pattern includes Child, Teen/Small Adult, Adult and Large Adult sizes.

YARN: Any worsted weight yarn you like. I used Red Heart Super Saver in Aran Fleck for the child’s beanie. One skein is plenty for the Child Beanie and Cowl. Two skeins of Red Heart Super Saver in Aran Fleck are needed to make the Beanie & Cowl for the Teen, Adult & Large Adult sizes.
