Elegant diamonds outlined in lacy yarnovers adorn each end of the Emmer Wrap. The body of the wrap carries the simple cable motif found in the center of each diamond into long, twisting columns separated by garter stitch. The wrap is worked in two pieces and grafted in pattern at the center.

Yarn Valley Yarns Northfield (70% Merino wool, 20% baby alpaca, 10% silk; 124 yd 113 m/ 1 ¾ oz 50 g): #18 Pine Green, 11 balls. Yarn distributed by WEBS.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 21 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Cable patt.
