Bringing different cultures into the classroom is so important, especially incorporating the stories and culture of Indigenous people. We always want to make sure that our students feel connected to the history of our country and the people who were here first and a great way to do that is through art. In this blog post, we discuss how we bring Indigenous culture into our school and classroom through the exploration of works by Indigenous artists in Canada.
