Illustrator and artist from Andhika Muksin from Jakarta has made a name for himself on Instagram where he shares realistic pictures of Disney princesses looking rather ugly.

We’re excited to introduce a new artist just beginning to unveil her wings in the comic world. Her series, ‘Asian and Redhead,’ draws inspiration from the everyday experiences she encounters in her own life. The short stories depicted in the strips highlight the diversity between Asia and the West. The cartoonist, who is married to an American man—the titular Redhead—describes some of the most common misconceptions and differences between both cultures.
