Contour is like a mini facelift!👏🏻 👉🏼Start at the base of your ear and apply contour all along the underside of your jawline. This creates a dark shadow which helps to camouflage our loose skin! Blend downwards so you don’t have a harsh line. If you have a little dent or divet where your jowl starts like I do, take your brightening highlight and apply to that little shadow. To conceal jowls try this technique- ✅Use a contour shade that is about two shades darker than your skin tone. Cooler tones work best for this job. ✅Start at your ear and follow the jawline until you see where the jowl starts and the sagging begins. ✅Continue moving straight ahead and you may have to veer off the jawline just a hair. Some people may develop jowls earlier than others and a variety of factors can play a role, including genetics, sun exposure (yes more reasons to protect from the sun), and other lifestyle choices. So what can you do about jowls? In terms of things at home there is not a lot that is likely to deliver significant improvements (and yes I know there are many posts on gua sha, facial yoga, microcurrent etc.), but in terms of long term lasting improvement I don’t think the at home strategies are as effective!
