This was for our community helper theme. We set up a school, fire department, police station and hospital. We then taped off our block area to represent roads leading to these buildings. We placed different types of corresponding vehicles for the children to play with.

When I taught preschool one of the most exciting themes for my students was our Construction & Buildings unit of study from Creative Curriculum.
