In practice, OWM works with our Customers and Stakeholders to develop, promote, and deliver a wide range of legal metrology products and services including U.S. and International documentary standards. OWM also provides technical guidance and training for state laboratory metrologists, weights and measures officials, metric (SI) educators, and industry.
Our Products and Services harmonize worldwide legal metrology standards, facilitate traceability for the states weights and measures standards to the International System of Units (SI) and promote uniform weights and measures laws and regulations adopted by state and local weights and measures programs.
