When in Rome... is one of Dribble & Spitz's microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. The title is a reference to the phrase "When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

Gameplay[edit]

The player has to prevent the object from touching the others by tilting it so that it moves with the others.

  • 1st level difficulty: "The Umbrella" form has to be used to stay in sync with the candy canes. These are lightsabers in the Japanese version.[1] If failed, the candy canes that collided will break off, the hands shake, and an electrical sound can be heard; in the Japanese version, the lightsabers that collided shake and electrify.
  • 2nd level difficulty: "The Janitor" form has to be used to stay in sync with the dogs. If failed, the dogs will become surprised (except the dog that did not get hit) and stars swirl around their heads.
  • 3rd level difficulty: "The Mohawk" form has to be used to stay in sync with the genies. The genie that got hit and the player's genie become surprised and the latter genie goes into his lamp which jiggles around if failed.
