nah, it’s bang realizing the company’s gonna need to hard carry sales this time. all major k-pop companies (and many of the smaller ones with outside investment) pumpfake sales nowadays, it’s just a matter of degree (riize and nmixx being the two most publicly surfaced cases, in addition to what bang wanted MHJ to do for NJ). hybe’s in a pinch financially at the moment but if there’s some cash leftover they’ll be doing what they did for TWS with “crazy” on melon too because that’s also been a disaster

tired of people saying the most toxic stuff about these girls and nitpicking every single thing they do. its like whatever they do, its 'bad' because its le sserafim. some of yall are never satisfied. i think what people need to do is learn what the difference between actual constructive criticism and hate is. none of this said 'criticism' is constructive. i have seen nothing but hate and harassment for literal months. 'they need to improve' sure, but yall dont even give them the space to do that because according to yall everything they do is wrong and u ignore their good performances. they show their vulnerable side on camera for once and suddenly they're 'looking for sympathy'. right, because god forbid people feel emotions and have struggles. its really weird if your first reaction to that is to make fun of them. and i think its crazy to spend all your day to hate on people. these girls deserve none of this. they're genuine and hardworking yet people dont treat them as human beings

the best thing hybe has done for them is turn off ig comments 💀. i have noticed that there is criticism of kpop from people that don't consume it which usually has to do with it being manufactured and the idols are dehumanized which is def true to an extent. especially the dehumanization part. but when a group or idol shows any vulnerability, they get horribly treated by kpop fans. there is no way to "win"

turning off comments seems like a smart thing to do. as others have pointed out, though, the one way to “win” would be for LSF to come back after a bunch of training and actually sing better – the reason they’re trying this pity party instead is because the group has multiple tone-deaf members who physically cannot improve no matter how much work they put in. so the best hybe can do is fake it again and do a better job (as they did for the first couple years) of hiding their extreme dearth of talent, which could work to a limited extent but won’t convince everyone and has a risk of being exposed again. so the real solution is for these labels to slow down and get back to gen 2 standards such that even the worst members are at least capable enough to get through their lines without disrupting the song. i sincerely hope that’s what happens, because it’s irresponsible to be putting these burdens on young people who physically just can’t do it

I just don't get the point of this hate train, or just hate trains in general. Truly valid criticism is completely masked by disgusting comments (there are two people making such comments that shall not be named on here). Everyone should be allowed to express their emotions. Sakura literally had a mental breakdown, and people are mocking her for it. This is an abuse of anonymity and freedom of speech.

the thing is, there is no point. people with god complexes amass followers and then... tbh just think of it like trump/maga. uneducated people are easier to have in numbers than educated people. this is historically true and always will be. those stupid people are swayed just by a caption saying "they cant sing" and showing a really bad clip where they had been performing for HOURS. after that they just hate because they are miserable people and find it fun to belittle people for *one* bad moment. If they had done their wittle research, they'd see how good the performance was / how most performances are for lsfm how great they are live. the real cure to this is taking their phone away since half of them are children LOL.

i agree the most with you, they have been working hard these years only for this?? hell nah, yall are so savage and are hungry for criticize them of EVERYTHING they do. You can see how they are trying to get better and better and more with the new documentary, literally chaewon and kkura are losing their stage confidence for these haters, i know they could be better but that doesnt quit that THEY ARE TRYING and improving every day their vocals. Its like the whole ILLIT thing like, its not their fault that the agencys didnt taked more time to train them better. Hope it's a better era for them, "Easy" era was very hard to witness as a Fearnot. Reminds me of what aespa, Itzy, and IVE experienced during "Savage," "Sneakers," and "After LIKE" eras, and those were very hard to wintess as a fan of those groups too. Kpop fans never learn.

i mean i just kinda wonder whats so disrespectful about simply dancing in a church especially since that specific church isnt in use and now gets used for filming all kinds of things like tv shows and music videos etc. meaning they obviously got permission. and there's so many other artists filming in churches as well. but either way, lsrfm had absolutely no saying in all that, if anything then blame the company and the director. also, the company literally doesnt allow them to talk about everything and most controversies but i thought we all knew that by now. so i understand the demand for an apology and i think its understanding that people are disappointed, but blaming the members for it when they have no control over these things is kinda odd to me, especially because i've seen people use it for a reason to allow people to hate and harass them. so my point still stands cause somehow during that time people targeted and blamed le sserafim mostly, instead of targeting the company.

@untilthespiring few will admit it (even to themselves) but you’re absolutely right, a lot of people are struggling to enjoy hybe groups the same way anymore. it’s a mess. hybe could end it overnight with a few easy moves but shitman is delusional and absolutely desperate to convince himself that the public loves him, so his groups are going to continue to suffer until there’s nothing left. i don’t think he’s gonna wake up and accept reality until BTS either breaks up or leaves the company

before hybe activates their signature crisis management sajaegi regimen, take a good look at those authentic sales charts (less than 20% the previous album) and melon numbers (can’t even crack the top 50 during the lowest-competition week korea’s seen in months if not years) on day 4 of release. the label will make sure stans have their fake numbers to wave around and defend LSF’s honor soon enough, but internally they’re definitely freaking out and realizing what a truly braindead move it was to continue their initial comeback plans after the group has been through a historic slew of talent and attitude controversies. hybe’s talking about an 18-month hiatus for the wrong group, these amateurs need the training bootcamp they never got and their teams need to come up with a whole new concept that isn’t just “i’m godly hot and you not worshipping me is oppression that i will overcome somehow.” they can be a great group but they and the company need to grind for EXP like crazy.
