Icon of the Chomp Trap

The Chomp Trap is a new item introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising, appearing only in Together Mode. When picked up and thrown, the trap is released from the orb that holds it, creating a pit that only cautious fighters will notice. The trap sucks in nearby foes and continuously drains their health until they are released after a short time or are defeated.

Idol Description

"A mysterious pit trap that bends both time and space. Those who step on it find themselves in a dimension of pain, continuously taking damage. Chomp Traps are quite devious, which makes them very dangerous."
