Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
The Perfect End To This Story Arc
Iloved every minute of this movie, I really wish people would stop thinking that they can do a better job than JJ on his movies.
I was in the Theater the day A New Hope Premiered and I have been a fan my entire childhood and now adulthood, the way they make movies have certainly changed but to me this is still the Galaxy Far Far Away that I always loved.
So to the critics of this movie, get over yourself and ask yourself, were you ever REALLY a star wars fan?
Jack Ryan (2018)
Much better than season 1
Where I think season 1 was a slow burn, season 2 is a uncontrolable fire from the getgo, people complain about it not being a true portrayal of Benezuela, who cares it is FICTION not a documentary.
I think Amazon has a ace in the hole with this season, Jack Ryan was never that interesting a character to me but season 2 defineteky held my attention for a binge.
In the Shadow of the Moon (2019)
A Bit Boring
I love crime dramas but this one was a bit dragging and boring to me, that doesnt mean it is bad, the concept is great, the story even and the acting is just okay.
but it is still not Netflix finest work.
Nancy Drew (2019)
Not your usual Nancy
This is not the Nancy Drew our parents read about, and thank god for that, this is a modernized take on the sleuth.
The absolute only reason I give this a 9 and not a 10 is that I have sworn to my girl Veronica Mars never to put someone before her, that being said I loved the first episode and I pray and hope that it will not be cancelled, but we all know it will because our parents will complaint about it, they are not able to accept the modernization, the new fresh take on a Nancy that are having sex.
On a side note it is really good to see Scott Wolf again, I always enoy him in his various roles.
I am going to end this by saying if you likes Veronica Mars and you are willing to broaden what you know about Nancy Drew, give this show a chance.
Ma (2019)
Not a Bad Movie But....
Ma is by no means a bad movie, but it is not scary either and that is what they tried to market it as, Octavia Spencer is great as always but I dont think she feels her role.
My recommendation is to wait for it to be released on a streaming platform, dont go spend money on it it is okay but not really that fantastic.
13 Reasons Why (2017)
Ani is GREAT
Finally they ntroduce a interesting character to this train wreck of a show, Any is one of the most inovative 3 dimentional characters in today's tv scenario.
She is wonderful quirky mousie wonderful great and I really hope they will develop her even further in future seasons.
Good job Netflix by far the best season so far.
Big Little Lies (2017)
Season 2 was great
There are people who are hating on season 2 of this briliant show, but I thought it was just as good as season 1, the emotions, the guilt and the battles crammed into 7 episodes was unbelieveable intense, new characters introduced and Meryl Streep GOT to win a Emmy for her performance.
DO not believe the haters, this was a great season.
Veronica Mars: Spring Break Forever (2019)
This girl I used to know named Veronica
Kristen Bell aka Veronica Mars can do nothing wrong in my book, this is my all time favorite series to binge on and season 4 so far do not disapoint me, love it.
Rim of the World (2019)
OMG please erase this from the world
This got to be one of the biggest disapointment in Netflix history, it sucks so bad I am just going to end the review here.
Cook Off! (2007)
Absolutely Loved it
I am a huge Christopher Guest fan and I love Mockumentaries, so I absolutely love this movie for what it is, masterpiece nope but entertainment oh yes.
Vores fjerde far (1951)
Great Old Movie
This sequel to "Hold Fingrene Fra Mor" is every bit as good as the first one, I actualy think it is better but that doesnt make the first one bad by any means.
4 Siblings looking out for their single moms best interest, doesnt always turn out smooth but in the end they prevail.
If you are from Denmark like me you should give it a watch, it has a bunch of the good old actors in it.
Death at the Mansion: Rebecca Zahau (2019)
I Love True Crime, But.
I really love true crime stories, but this one is a slow burner, it is as if they try to stretch a relatively simple tale into lasting many episodes.
The episodes could be half the time too, so no while the case is interesting this is just not well told.
Deadwood (2004)
Just NO
So prior to the movie coming out last night I had not watched any of this show, so I binged it, and it have been measured, wighted and found lacking of what real good tv should be, it is simply a boring snooze of a show, I didnt find the movie all that good either, but I guess there are people who still cling to Westerns, maybe they like it, I just didnt.
The Rain (2018)
Alba August is one of the most Beautiful Women in Danish TV
Love this show, I think it is well acted and well written, Denmarks answer to The Walking Dead almost, well not really but it is still awesome sauce.
Back to Alba, she is the daughter of one of Denmarks most famous Directors but she is not standing in her dads shadow, this girl is a method actress and a fantastic one too.
Do yourself a favor, tune into Netflix and watch The Rain.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
The End of an Era
I dont believe a movie or a show deserves to get a 1/10 just because it doesnt live up to what people want it to be, regardless the ending the 8th season have been entertaining, majestic and full of surprises, lets be honest here, was there ever any ending that would have satisfied?
The season could probably have benefited from a couple of more episodes, I am really looking forward to the spin-off series coming from this, and I do not for ne second believe that a mediocre season 8 have taken away an inch of my lfe for this entire series.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Please I Beg of You
Before I go on with my opinion, because lets face it this is an opinion not a review, I am not a reviewer I am a viewer, I BEG of you to realize that Game of Thrones is not ART, it is Entertainment and no matter what the writers come up with it will not satisfy all your twisted little fantasies, the outcome that you were hoping for, quite frankly I am amazed by all the arm chair writers out there that think they could have done a better job.
Now on to the review.
Dany Kills Everyone With Her Dragon, and I am pretty sure that everyone left will kill Dany in the final episode. - The End
Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
It all leads to the end
First of all guys, some people are moaning about reviewers before the episode was out, please be aware that this episode aired in Europe 6 hours before the USA hence time difference, so that is not exactly true, they could have seen the episode.
Now on to the episode, it seems like we know the characters better than the show runners, things that should logically happen is not happening, but every fan have their idea of how the show should wrap up and we cant all be right, can we?
So far I think every episode of season 8 have been master pieces, whether you like them or not, it does however seem like this could just as well have been a full episode season (10 or 12), lost opportunites, rushed story line, this season do what most shows seem to to in their last season, it is detaching us from the show, making us give out a final sigh, thank god it is over.
They all do it if you think about it, next episode will play as follows, and this is a guess not a spoiler.
Dany will soar so high she cant be seen and dive down to burn the iorn fleet, she will try to do the same to kings landing but will most likely lose her last dragon in the attempt, Jamie Lannister will kill his sister as predicted, Arya will deal with the Mountain (But how do you kill what is already dead?), There will be a showdown between Dany and Jon for sure, who knows how that will end.
Predictions more main characters will die, some we do not expect and some we will, there will be a time jump before the end of episode 6, will Tyrion, perhaps one of the most loved characters bite the dust? who knows but I be there to watch, and it is far from boring to me.
I be looking forward to the spin off's of perhaps the greatest tv show to have ever existed.
Have a great night guys.
Bound by Honor (1993)
Just a great movie
I personally think this should be as regarded as the godfather movies, it is a great story told in a great way, everyone should watch this.
Leaving Neverland (2019)
Sorry for asking
While this was a interesting watch I do not understand why we are still talking about it, I dont think there is a sane person in this world who didnt believe that MJ was a pedophile on some level, that being said I have a hard time seeing him as some scary sexual predator with a hardon for kids, I can however see him as a Man who would not grow up because he was robbed of his childhood by his dysfunctional family.
So why this documentary? why all this interest? the Man is long gone to the final neverland ranch, so why not just give it a rest now, if anything it is perverse that people keep spinning gold on a disgusting topic like this.
