This is not the first horror film directed by Syamsul Yusof, he had led one another horror film titled Khurafat.
To stick with the movie Islamic theme, there are no potrayal of direct physical contact between different genders throughout the entire film, as in Islamic belief, such action is highly forbidden.
In Malaysia, the movie gross about RM16.7 million as at 4th April 2016, overcoming Ola Bola (RM15.9 million).
