I unfortunately arrived for the Ghostfacer movement a bit later than most. I hadn't seen when they were on Supernatural and had no idea what I was missing.
Being a fan of AJ Buckley's from CSI: NY, a friend told me about the Ghostfacers. Being a junkie for all things paranormal, & paranormal related, I just had to check it out. So I checked out the Supernatural episodes first & then made my way over to the Ghostfacers website to catch up on past videos. Boy, was I missing out all this time.
After seeing the numerous YouTube videos & then then the videos on the Ghostfacer website, I fell in love with the comical, quirky & dorky characters. After I felt caught up & familiar enough with the characters, I made my way to the CW website to check out the webisodes.
Again, I was hooked! Each webisode had just the right amount of comedy, scares, & drama to keep you hooked & waiting for the next installment. I looked forward to each Thursday as a chance to "hang out" with the quirky characters I had grown to love. The phenomenal cast aside, the writing was absolutely fantastic! When watching the webisodes, you could just see the chemistry between the actors. It was so much fun to see them interact with each other & you could tell that each actor was having a complete blast making this season!
As stated before, I am a junkie for all things paranormal & watch many of the popular "ghost hunting" shows on television. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the writers & cast of Ghostfacers kept true to things you would see & hear in some of the most popular paranormal TV shows like Ghost Hunters and Paranormal State. I can't even begin to describe how much I cracked up when I would hear "commence dead time" and when they went into how electrical wires could mess with the K2 meter readings. I was truly impressed!
The best part was that it was fun to follow each webisode up to the investigation. They just pieced everything together so wonderfully from the initial research into the haunted location, down to investigation itself. Job well done guys & gals! I would have loved to go into each webisode in detail, but I know there are a lot of people outside of the U.S. that haven't been able to see the webisodes yet. I didn't want to spoil it for anyone. But, I am crossing my fingers & toes that this is not the last of the Ghostfacers & that Warner Brothers will open the door for many more webisodes and seasons to come!
To the Ghostfacers, thanks for the laughs! Stay razor! :)
