I think a lot of the reviews I have read are comparing this film to others. In a sense i guess that is what reviewing is, but i think with a film like this the director obviously wasn't trying to make the next blockbuster. I enjoyed the subliminal message. In the club, when john goes to the bathroom he reads some writing on the wall, "911 was an inside job." I didn't get the message the director was trying to convey with this at first. But after finishing the film i came to the conclusion that the message was one of Thinking for yourself. How ever many times this type of movie is made, that message to me is very important. I believe that as a society we have grown far to dependant on the politicians and mass media to tell us everything will be OK. So we stop thinking. I think the message of this film is to open your eyes and see the world from your own perspective...not CNN's perspective.

I had no idea what to expect when I sent to a screening of this film. I was drawn in at the beginning but I slowly lost interest.
The sound design and music gave me a headache. It wasn't until the credits that I saw that the writer/director also composed all of the music. Ugh.
The director was tried too hard to be artistic by manipulating the film and putting in random, red herring flashes.
Rhys Coiro was great, but the movie is mediocre.
For what it is, Order of Chaos is well made and compelling at times. The ending sucks.

In all fairness, it adds up to an almost mediocre B-movie. Predictable plot and storyline. Underdog meets new friend with ulterior motives and so on. The completely out of place soundtrack, over kill of random flashes, slow motion and effects kill what ever is left which wasn't much to begin with. The producer makes his 1st movie adding his own bands music which thoroughly runs this feature in the ground. In an effort to hide the empty storyline it just use all the effects available. A predictable uninteresting film without depth leaning on soap opera acting performances. A far too long pompous music video with the sole purpose of promoting the directors own band. Why did Mimi risk being seen in something this atrocious anyway? Why Mimi? Why?!

This movie was in the top ten of the worst I have seen. It was bad enough I felt the need to write a review to keep other people from wasting their time. The first warning I had from the film was the flickering effect. I spent the first twenty minutes of the film trying to figure out what was wrong with my home theater setup as the screen kept blinking out like a loose video cable. Once I decided that was intentional, I still had a hard time ignoring it. I did find it pretty easy to ignore the plot however. I found myself wanting to wander off during the film. I went to the kitchen for a glass of water but didn't feel the need to pause the DVR. I found myself debating whether or not I should just change the channel. I decided to stick it out to see if there was a really great ending, but no such luck. So, if you do decide to watch and find yourself thinking about changing the channel I say, "GO FOR IT!"
I have nothing to do with movies or music in any professional capacity. I simply watch them. I've seen quite a few bad movies, including some I thought should offer refunds. This is one of them. Reminded me of a very, very boring, lame version of American Psycho. Unlike AP, this movie was totally predictable. It was hard to sit through. I had to keep resisting the urge to press fast forward. There isn't much dialogue. The "music" was the worst of thing of all - horrible, too loud, blasted at weird times and extremely annoying. The only movie I've ever seen more boring and pointless than this was Open Water. Unless you have nothing better to do, skip this one.
What can I say about this movie? Well... For one, it's pretty darn bad.
It's about Douche Baggerson (played by Rhys Coiro) and Douchon Bagella (played by Milo Ventimiglia) and they play 2 corporate suit type of guys both trying to become head-honchos at their work.
Alright that is not the name of their characters, but it might as well be considering how they behave.
Anyway they play their roles... Pretty badly and over the top almost constantly, their co-stars aren't that much better though.
It's listed as a action-movie, why I'm not sure, I'm guessing because of the ecstasy-fuelled editing that I guess is suppose to be really cool but just becomes kinda lame and annoying with super-fast cuts and repeats of certain phrases and the occasional random shock-clips and loud noise.
Speaking of the loud noise, I would not recommend using headphones when watching this as you'd probably end up getting tinnitus unless you already have it. As very randomly super-loud electronic music starts blasting out of the speakers, more than twice as high as the average speaking level in the movie.
The story is uninteresting, it tries to make some clever commentary about media in the very end but ends up just looking like a very try- hard attempt, just like the whole movie is trying way too hard to be cool and exciting, when it doesn't have the material to be either.
Waste of time.

Without each of us agreeing to act within agreed bounds, life is nasty, brutish and short. An important consideration that the rich only noticed when peasants began exchanging their pitchforks for better weapons - one forgotten in the last few decades of neo-conservative rationalization.
This story of two lawyers is a wonderful exposition of the order of chaos that would occur if moral codes were ignored. It is a social contract and once it is breached by one, there is no reason for the other to honour it. There is also good reason that the basic rule of the schoolyard is to leave the medicated kid with nothing to lose alone. These ideas apply to nations as well...
Great theme, and the acting from the leads is marvellous especially the portrayal of the dark side of the quiet frustrated lawyer. The execution could have been better - less choppiness, less intrusive soundtrack, a bit tighter storytelling. Still well worth seeing...

This movie describes a poor guy how to lose his fiancée, then this job, at last maybe his free.
I advise you not waste time on this movie. You can get nothing but CHAOS. Chaotic tread and chaotic music, totally chaotic. Of course, maybe it is also the goal of this movie.
I spent 3 days to watch this movie because it always made me sleepy.
Frankly speaking, I think the only thing you will learn from this movie is how to make low-cost movie.
Anyway, I also need to appreciate this director. Not every movie must be wonderful, wonderful movies need such boring movies to make themselves standout. I guess whichever movie I will watch next, it must be a good movie. :)

Yes, this is a low budget film with little dialog. Milo Ventimiglia is an underrated but extremely talented actor and I think he made the film. If you haven't seen it yet, watch Pathology.
Rhys Coiro was adequate - but as for the American Psycho reference he is no Christian Bale and this is no American Psycho. That particular film is pure brilliance, whereas this is just an interesting character study. If I am engrossed in enough in a film that I can't stop watching and get completely wrapped in the main character I consider it a good film.
I did and this is, I liked the music - both the style of the music and the use in the film. I actually believe that in this movie less dialog was better, but I didn't find it completely predictable - I wasn't really sure what was going to happen at the end. I might have ended it differently or perhaps had more twists but overall I thought it was a solid film with solid acting. It's worth the 90 minutes of your time.

This was bad even for a low budget film!!! Why anyone reading this script would want to be in this movie is beyond me - why any investor would invest $2 in this after reading the script is beyond me. Implausible yet predictable from the minute the two men meet at work to the very last second -- a few "weeks in the life of" the office creep and office nerd. With a little work, the script and some character development COULD have salvaged this flick a little.
Easy to follow because it's so simple minded - NOT thought provoking unless you enjoy dwelling on the psychosis of others Horrible use of effects with cameras - unpredictable and very unnecessary flashes and repeats only add to the stress you feel of wanting this movie to end.
The director/producers would have fared better if they could not afford good sound editing and a decent score to go with silence or some inexpensive royalties to some retro tunes.
Super stilted performances - almost like reading lines - I've seen better acting in high school plays.
Overall do not waste your time.

Can't believe all the negative reviews on here. Anyone who gives this 1 star doesn't deserve internet access and clearly has no clue about filmmaking, storytelling, or anything else. They're probably 12 years old - this movie is not made for you, it deals with tensions and themes that you have haven't experienced yet. I'm not saying this is the best film ever made, but what we have here is: A director with a point of view, an intelligent film, an entertaining film, a film of "the times". What makes the film smart is that it explores the nuances of human behavior. All of these things put it above most films that come out in a given year. Worth seeing.

I'm a sound person, so this film to me was unwatchable. Whoever did the mixing knows nothing at all about what they're doing. I walked out. It was painful to listen to. I have no idea if the movie was any good because I quit after ten minutes because I couldn't bear to sit through it. It was an insult to every sound person ever in existence.
The music was equally terrible. Why anybody who is clearly untrained thought they could tackle music is beyond me.
What was the director doing not hiring a decent sound team? Please, director, if you want someone to watch your movie, re-do it with a real sound team and a real composer.

There are no spoilers in this review because even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to spoil this home video more than it already is. The real challenge is deciding which was worse: the mediocre script (at best), irritating sound and editing (not supporting the story), home- production level image quality or the (lack of) overall direction. I rented "Order of Chaos" based solely on Milo Ventimiglia's name. My gamble didn't pay off and it makes me wonder what made him (Mr. Ventimiglia) decide to take part in a project like this. He is the only decent part of this video, though. What a waste of 90 minutes and 5 dollars. TP
First things first: if it weren't for Sex and the City 2, this would be the worst film of the year.
This film actually starts out promising with fast-paced plot progression and unique editing techniques. Ultimately, the movie stalls with nowhere to really go and the editing becomes over zealous. The editing tries to be "new age" but becomes annoying and repetitive. Ultimately, this film turns into a 90 minute long montage of crap that doesn't really make sense.
This movie offers no redemption and certainly does not provide any answers. But, looking back, it doesn't offer any meaningful questions to answer in the first place. Skip this one.

This movie -that tries so many times to convey some flatulent, deeper meaning- isn't anything more than a two hour dick measuring contest. Absolutely terrible. I also couldn't figure out why the DVD cover has a picture of moist towelette on it. I couldn't help but wonder if somewhere there is a 25 years old white male, reeking of Axe body wash, drinking Smirnoff Ice, and feverishly taking notes while watching this movie. It's less about being entertainment and more about being an instruction manual for douche bags. Don't let me forget the music! There is a repeating soundtrack throughout the movie, during times that I'm assuming are supposed to be hight tension, which sounds like someone rhythmically beating a file cabinet with a paperweight while someone hit's it with a tambourine on the upbeat. At one point in the movie, the antagonist suggests that the protagonist go to his girlfriend and, "fingerbang her like Lenny Kravitz". Granted, I really don't know much about Lenny Kravitz, but that line just seemed a little bizarre.

This film is total rubbish! The actors did the best with what they had to work with, unfortunately the same cant be said about the directors, producers and writers. The story line was stupid, boring and basically non existent. The sound track was unbearable and the camera work looked like it was done by a 10 year old.
I've seen better high school media projects than this rubbish, by far the worst movie I've ever seen. I don't know if this was a straight to DVD or TV movie but it's not worth the cost of a blank DVD let alone the price of a movie ticket or DVD rental, I can only hope that the writers, directors and producers of this crap are never allowed to work in the industry again. Unfortunately I'll never regain the 90 minutes I wasted on this junk.

I beg you DO not see this movie! AWFUL. It just sucks. Whoever see this movie will lose 1:25 hours from his life and will come to this comment and agree! Please do not see! I have nothing to say in this 10 lines. So. its better to count to 1 2 3 instead of watching this film.
Its a guy, he has nothing special in life, he meets a guy. All this with bad cameras and awful shots. Some annoying noises for sound effects just to make it having suspense but its just bad noises. some subconscious pictures with some blood and killed guys in them, again just to make it having suspense (they have no point in the movie and they are not even in subject). And at the end NOTHING! no end.
Thanks

firstly i understand fully why people see this movie as an abysmal American psycho rip off as there's not really much humour and action for them, also the movie is pretty empty but then maybe that's the point, the main characters are all pretty empty as are their lives... swanky apartments, flash cars, girls etc but its all rather empty and life is not what it should be... then you have pharmaceutical drugs, paranoia and the internal struggle of serving the system that enslaves you, there are snippets of all in this movie... not to mention that maybe if more people drove around listening to Alan Watt in their cars the world may in time become a far better place.
5/10 this movie will be of limited appeal to mainstream movie goers!

This film is a stroke of Genius, and is a welcomed breath of fresh air film making, using sound, and image effects to physiologically put you deep into the film's atmosphere.
When watching this film, its recommended to watch it from start to finish without any breaks, yes, that includes popping out for a smoke.
Amazing piece of work, with great casting, direction, and story, one that Im sure many hard working class people will relate to in one form or another.!
I personally felt that this film could of gone on much longer too, and when the end arrived, I was quite sad that this great film came to an end, and left me outside the atmosphere I was consumed within the plot.
