Born during 1958, Kumar Desai lives a wealthy lifestyle in a business family. Everything changes when he accidentally injures his head during 1965, and although he grows up physically, he remains a child psychologically. Years later, his mom and maternal uncle, Manmohan, after several vain attempts to cure him, finally decide to get him married to Varsha Deshmukh, but the later rejects him. Then Kumar's life is shattered after his mom allegedly leaves for Tirath Yatra and does not return, leaving him alone at the mercy of Manmohan - who lusts after Varsha - and has no room whatsoever for Kumar in his life.
