Joel is an accomplished Film and Television Director and Producer. Born in New York, but raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Joel holds a Law Degree and an M.F.A. in Directing from A.F.I. Variety named Joel as one of ten Directors to Watch. He recently directed three "Arrow" episodes for Warner Brothers and two "Blood and Treasure" episodes for C.B.S. One of the episodes was named "Best Episode of the year" by several specialty sites. Joel also has a deal with M.G.M as Co-Executive Producer of the project "El Gato Negro" starring Diego Boneta and produced by Robert Rodríguez.
