"Clear the base. Hold the perimeter – at all costs." Saban Films has unveiled the official trailer for a WWII action movie called 3 Days in Malay, directed by the Australian action star Louis Mandylor. Another of these unoriginal action movies being churned out by the dozen. Mandylor has been starring in films made by director Brandon Slagle recently, though this time Slagle wrote the screenplay and let Mandylor direct. A small group must defend an airfield for three days against the Japanese assault during the fight for Malay in World War II. Mandylor with Cowboy Cerrone, Peter Dobson, Ryan Francis, Randall J. Bacon, and Quinton Rampage Jackson star in the WWII action film, out to watch starting in August. It's inspired by a true story, based on the actual Malayan campaign in 1941-1942 where Allied forces tried to defend Malaya from Japanese forces. This looks brutal and intense, and remarkably generic and uninteresting.

"We're all going to get eaten alive!" Yes, yes they probably will. Saban Films has revealed the trailer for an action horror movie called The Flood, another of these junky direct-to-video B-movie horror flicks that seem to be popping up all the time now. It's from the same bad filmmaker who also made Battle For Saipan, also with Casper Van Dien, who is back again for this one. A horde of giant hungry alligators is unleashed on a group of in-transit prisoners and their guards after a massive hurricane floods Louisiana. Yes, this is the alligators-in-a-prison movie, if anyone wants to watch. Starring Casper Van Dien, Nicky Whelan, Louis Mandylor, Devanny Pinn, Ryan Francis, Randy Wayne, and Kim DeLonghi. This does not seem worth anyone's time or money - steer clear of this one, folks. There are plenty of other better giant alligator / croc movies to watch instead: Sewer Gators,...

"You can't hide from an evil that lives within." Lionsgate has revealed an official trailer for a psychological horror thriller titled The Inhabitant, from filmmaker Jerren Lauder. This is actually a weird re-imagining of the classic axe murderer Lizzie Borden story – but about one of her descendants, a young woman named Tara. As Tara begins to hear voices and have paranoid visions of butchering her family, people in her small town are attacked and killed — and all evidence points to her. Of course. Can she confront the past and her own family history to find out the truth and stop more bloodshed? The film stars Dermot Mulroney, Leslie Bibb, Odessa A'zion, Lizze Broadway, Ryan Francis, and Michael Cooper Jr. Unfortunately this looks pretty bad - no wonder they're dumping it on VOD in a few weeks. Doesn't look worth your time. ›››
