Jackrabbit Media has acquired worldwide sales on sci-fi sequel The Jurassic Games: Extinction and is launching sales talks with AFM buyers in Las Vegas this week.

The sequel to 2018 cult hit The Jurassic Games is written and directed by Ryan Bellgardt, and dives deeper into the lethal virtual game where condemned prisoners in a dystopian future face off against prehistoric predators in a high-stakes battle for survival.

Todd Terry, Ryan Francis and Katie Burgess lead the cast on the Boiling Point Media production, with Bellgardt and Harry C. Wolohon IV producing, and Emily Taylor serving as executive producer.

Exclusive: Kate French, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Michael Sirow, Chris Mullinax and Aaron Quick Nelson have joined the cast of Come With Me.

The five actors will appear alongside lead Theo Rossi and supporting actor Ron Perlman.

Rossi stars as well as executive produces the film, which follows a working class man who runs into trouble at work after he begins to take seriously the spewings of an acerbic radio host Dalton Kirby(Perlman).

French joins the ensemble as Rossi’s wife, who becomes increasingly estranged from her husband. Ronnie Gene Blevins (Emancipation), plays his best friend, who unknowingly introduces Rossi’s character to a dark side of himself, while simultaneously facing emotional trials.

Exclusive: Ron Perlman has joined the cast of Aaron Harvey’s upcoming Come With Me thriller film.

The actor will portray Dalton Kirby, a sharp radio host who influences a working-class man (Theo Rossi) with his verbal rants of fear and doom. This marks a reunion for the pair of actors, who worked together on Sons of Anarchy.

In Come With Me, Rossi’s character falls under the influence of Kirby’s diatribes, which darken the world around him. He soon run into trouble at work as a result of absorbing Kirbey’s acerbic radio rhetoric.

Come With Me recently wrapped production in Gulfport, Biloxi and Pass Christian, Mississippi. Harvey directs from a script he cowrote with Jonathan Croom. The film is also produced by Demetrius Stear, Colin Bates, Kevin Greene, and Nicholas Carmona.

Executive producers include Ryan Francis, Lance Kawas, Fadi Assaf, Michael Sirow and Javier C. Ortiz.

Exclusive: The Penguin star Theo Rossi has joined Aaron Harvey’s Come With Me.

Rossi, who appeared in the second episode of Max’s The Penguin recently will star in as well as executive produce the film, in which a working-class man finds trouble at his job and becomes influenced by a radio host who spews rhetoric.

“I’m a believer in the power of art and how it can stir emotions and spark conversations. From the moment I read Come With Me, I knew this story had to be told,” Rossi tells Deadline. “I think it’s going to lead to a much-needed discussion on how we are impacted by the information we consume.”

Neon has released an official trailer for Pamela Adlon‘s directorial debut “Babes,” a comedy starring Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau.

“Babes” follows childhood best friends Eden (Glazer) and Dawn (Buteau) as Eden becomes pregnant after a one night stand and leans on Dawn to guide her through her pregnancy and beyond. While Dawn navigates motherhood and raising her second child with her husband (Hasan Minaj), she and Eden explore their vastly different adulthoods with one another.

Glazer, the co-creator and star of Comedy Central’s sitcom “Broad City,” co-wrote the screenplay with Josh Rabinowitz. She also produced the movie. The film, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival last month, is set to release on May 17.

Saban Films has unveiled the official trailer for a WWII action movie called 3 Days in Malay, directed by the Australian action star Louis Mandylor. Another of these unoriginal action movies being churned out by the dozen. A small group must defend an airfield for three days against the Japanese assault during the fight for Malay in World War II. Mandylor with Cowboy Cerrone, Peter Dobson, Ryan Francis, Randall J. Bacon, and Quinton Rampage Jackson star in the WWII action film, out to watch starting in August. It's inspired by a true story, based on the actual Malayan campaign in 1941-1942 where Allied forces tried to defend Malaya from Japanese forces. Legendary Naughty by Nature rapper Anthony “Treach” Criss has joined the upcoming action film, “The Getback,” set to air on Tubi this year. “Veep” alum Sufe Bradshaw has also joined.

“The Getback” tells the story of Mal Cooper (Theo Rossi), an ex-cop-turned-bounty hunter hired to bring in a slippery accountant whose testimony is crucial to the trial a major gang boss. The pair must work and trust each other to slip by crooked killer cops and mercenaries out for blood.

Treach plays Alonzo Beaumont, “a notorious gangster awaiting his trial date in jail, whose entire case may (or may not) depend on the successful retrieval of his flighty accountant,” per the official description.

Bradshaw meanwhile plays Mal Cooper’s former partner, Detective Hatch, who helps Cooper from inside the police to learn who is trying to have the witness murdered.

Dermot Mulroney, Shane Paul McGhie and Kim Coates will be joining Tubi’s actioner “The Getback” alongside the previously-announced Theo Rossi.

Rossi leads the film as Mal Cooper, a bounty hunter who must retrieve a con artist criminal accountant and keep him alive. Upon finding the criminal, the two have to work together to escape cops and mercenaries on a mission to kill them.

Mulroney is joining the film as Chief Joe Milazzo, Cooper’s ex-employer. His credits include “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” “August: Osage County,” “Young Guns” and the upcoming horror film “Scream VI.”

McGhie is also part of “The Getback” ensemble, having acted previously with Rossi in the film “American Skin.” McGhie has also worked on “Deputy,” “What Men Want” and “Unbelievable.”

Coates is joining the cast after having played opposite Rossi in “Sons of Anarchy.” Coates is also featured in “Bad Blood,” “Goon,” “Godless” and the upcoming mini-series “White House Plumbers.

Ex-con Schillinger (Ryan Francis) has been out of the big house long enough to start up his own business as a removal man, and has just hired two more employees, also prison alumni: tough Imani (Morgan Alexandria) and her friend, soft-spoken new father Carlos (Bryce Fernelius). All three have pasts they would like to put in the rear-view mirror of the moving van. But an offer from a creepy old man (Michael Flynn) with a German accent to do a quick overnight cash job will expose each person’s dark secrets and vulnerabilities, including piquing their perfectly natural curiosity when he tells them to shift everything in the mansion but stay out, per the title, of the attic. Shudder, AMC’s horror and thriller-focused streaming platform, announced a lineup of 11 films set to premiere over the next 11 weeks.

The selection of Shudder Originals coming to Shudder include Sundance Film Festival selections, as well as Tribeca Film Festival selections and a host of new content, as well. The first project to join the streaming site will be “Hunted,” a take on the Little Red Riding Hood story that is set to premiere Jan. 14.

Other movies joining Shudder hail from the genres of psychological horror to thriller, with themes exploring technology, nature, gender and betrayal. “Lucky,” coming on March 4, will detail the difficulties one woman faces after discovering that she has a stalker. And “A Nightmare Wakes” will give life to Mary Shelley in a period piece about the famous author.

The final film in the 11-week lineup is “Violation,” which both ran at Sundance and the Toronto International Film Festival.
