Richard Clarkin

Richard Clarkin was born in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. He is a graduate of The National Theater School of Canada. Even though he is busy in TV he still continues to act in many theater productions across Canada. Richard is also an ensemble member of The Company Theater of Toronto. His theater credits almost equal in number his TV credits. Some of these are, The Fighting Days, The Price, Waiting For Godot, Sherlock Holmes, Red River Rebellion, VideoCab, The Lion King, Death of a Salesman, plus many more at other theaters across Canada. Chief Constable Davis / Inspector Jeffrey Davis, Naturally, Sadie (TV Series) as Walter Hawthorne, and played the part, of an American President, in The War of 1812 a TV Mini-Series, and that President was Andrew Jackson.
In his early career, Clarkin wanted to be a sportscaster, and spent a year working at The C.B.C. But the acting bug bit and he joined a theater company and the rest was history. He has been steadily working for over 20 years. In an Interview with theater director Philip Riccio, Richard talked about his passion and love of the theater. In another interview with Katie Chats, He stated he likes camping and canoeing. Also stated jokingly, that he is so into his work, that he did not have time, for Facebook or the like.
