I quilted 14 miniature quilts at once, each in a different design!!! ⤵️
The first 5 minis are all scraps cut at 1 1/2" x 2 1/4". Bear with me--all 5 are made from "Birdsong" fabric scraps, so they look alike, but the quilting is different on each one!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great group of mini's. I love to see the different pantos you use. I think I like that Rondelle as my favorite, today!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute Nancy!! I love all the different quilting patterns! (Missy V.)
ReplyDeleteI love each one! That Birdsong fabric is fabulous. The quilting, especially the Jasmine leaves, is just gorgeous. Looks like you had a great time with these Nancy, your joy just shines through. :)

These are beauties, Nancy! Your tiny quilting is amazing, too. I loved seeing the different designs you used for each of them. I signed up for her newsletter to get that free sunflower pattern - so cute!
ReplyDeleteFabulous fun quilts! Thanks for taking the time to share each one so we can see the wonderful quilting! So much variety, I can’t pick a favorite!❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing the quilting on the back - it adds to my appreciation. Like the Sunflower block.
ReplyDeleteThese are so fun! I love seeing how the different patterns look on the "same" quilt.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! It is hard to choose a favorite but the strawberry quilts and the butterfly sure are tugging at my heart.
ReplyDeleteMini quilts are among my favorite projects! There is always somewhere in the house to hang one or two. Yours are all so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun minis! I love that each has a different quilting motif...so much fun to see them all. I am sure the charity will appreciate your generous donation. So much fun to think of so many going to Japan. I will have to study these patterns, there are a few I love....the strawberry, carrot and the snowflake come to mind as so much fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog
ReplyDeleteIt's most impressive how you selected a different quilting motif for each of the 14 mini's . I find myself studying each one to understand how they are created. No doubt these will be snapped up to support the mission.
ReplyDeleteSweet minis and how fun to see all of the quilting designs! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! All of them, and it looks like you had a lot of fun quilting each one differently ;) I love the cute butterfly, and the Jasmine leaves quilting pattern too!
ReplyDeleteWow, what an amazing collection! And such wonderful detail on each one!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness! Talk about quilt-making production! You can get a lot of small quilts on a longarm at once! I'd need about 12 arms and 6 sewing machines to get as much done! Ha, ha. Really, it's nice that you did this, and I hope each quilt will be a blessing because of the monies they raise. You have a very generous heart.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Thanks for the links to the free patterns. Our guild makes potholders to include with our county's Holiday Baskets, and these will be fun to include.
ReplyDeleteEach mini is fabulous! What a fun way to try didn't quilting designs! I too hope that these will raise a good amount of money to support JELA. --TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteWell done on all the minis. I really like your quilting. It's reminiscent of sashiko, which is even better once I learned they're destined for Japan.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! I'm replying here as your post came through as anonymous. Yes, I love Japanese sashiko, too! We saw a lot of it while in Japan. My children would hand stitch sashiko kits, which were readily available!
DeleteAll those different quilting designs - just beautiful. Minis must be an awesome way to test drive new designs too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful works.
ReplyDeleteI would give anything to have you near me.
Lots of love to you.
What a great show of beautiful little quilts and quilting designs. I'm going to come back later and check these out better... it's bedtime!
ReplyDeleteOhmy gosh - what a great lineup - and quilting all at the same time - brilliant - but!!! then you had to bind that many quilts - sending you hugs on that ( and maybe you need chocolate? haha)
ReplyDeleteOK, now if you were in charge of world's food production (quality and volume), we would solve World Hunger by next week! Have you considered a change of profession? Hugs and Kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteSo many cute minis, Nancy! You have such a fun stash of fabric, each mini is unique and fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are just adorable, Nancy!! I love them all, but I think the snowflake and the butterfly are my very favorites! Great job! Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings!
