This was my first Jeffrey Deaver novel and I loved it! Police procedurals are usually hit or miss for me, but I loved Kathryn Dance’s character and the way procedural methods were explained. From forensics to kinesics, this book explained just enough that you got more than the basics, but not too much that you felt like you were in school.
