really liked it
I love the originality of the author in the way we get a unique perspective of the vampire genre. The book is a quick and short read, and while it started with much suspense and comedy, it did drop down a few notches in the excitement level as I read on. Still, Hillbilly Vamp is horror at its best, with wit, gore, a small-town location, and an eccentric bunch of characters, making it all the more fun. A touching look at what it means to be a caregiver for someone with dementia. The book is a reminder that we are not alone in this journey. It is also full of tips directly from the caregivers on dealing with situations and managing self-care while you are responsible for a loved one.
