This book missed the mark for me. It was worth reading but it wasn't a favorite. I didn't think it was very well developed. I didn't dislike the heroine but I didn't like her either.

This was pretty good. It kept me turning pages. The romance is slow, the couple is apart through a good portion of the book. This was kind of bleak. But it keeps you on your toes wondering how they are going to get out of situations or accomplish what they need to. I'm not dying to start the next book to see what happens so I give it 4 stars, but it's written well and worth the read. Clean.
