I was wondering if Neverwhere would count as a book set in London? I haven't read it before, but judging from the reviews, it takes place in London and in "below London," an underground sort of parallel universe. Wasn't sure if this was London-y enough or not. :)

Neverwhere works. Sounds like it's set in London Above and London Below. I really need to get around to reading that book soon. It sounds so good....

Thanks, Kristi! I managed to pick up a used copy for $6 the other day - I'm pretty anxious to read it! :)

Yes, that works, too.

Sounds like it's set in London and in France so, yes, it will work.

Would the The Old Curiosity Shop be ok? It is partly set in London and then keeps moving about England.
It is 576 pages long and I had read till 26 last month.

That works. The shop is in London and it sounds like it keeps coming up in the story.

Hi Kristi. I was wondering about
by Michael Robotham for this task. The write ups that I have found don't say London specifically but they mention the Thames and it looks like the Tower Bridge in the background of the cover. Would this work?

I found this on the series page: "Vincent Ruiz, a detective inspector, and usually Joseph O’Loughlin, psychologist, in London, England"
So, yes, that will work. Looks good, too!

Has anyone else noticed that when you reply to a message, the book in the original message is changing?? What the heck...?
Very strange about the book changing. I hope it doesn't happen when we try and post for points.
Thanks for OK'ing my original submission Kristi.

Would The Last Little Blue Envelope work?
It's set in London and a few other places in Europe, but the Protagonists keep coming back to London...

If they they are in London for least half of the book, it'll work.

How about this?"
From the Wikipedia description, it sounds like the book is set in Oxford and Greece, not London. So, no, it won't work.

In honor of the 2012 Summer Olympics, read a book set in London OR a book with one of the following words in the title/subtitle: Olympic, summer, games, champion, gold, silver, bronze, medal. Plurals and possessives (and the singular "game") will work, but no other variations.
