ones I'm really looking forward to:
Feb - Angelmaker by Nick Harkaway
April - Stonemouth by Iain Banks
July - The Apocalypse Codex by Charles Stross
Aug - Black Opera by Mary Gentle

I'm going for the reads people dread, not sure about the time frame, depending on how complex these reads are:
Ulysses
Swann's Way, and if that is digestible, the rest of the Remembrance of Things Past, in which Swann's Way is the first volume.
More books by Haruki Murakami.
Some Sci-Fis, Horror, or Fantasy that looks interesting as part of group reads. I've been disappointed lately with the group reads, so I decided to hit on books I've had on my must read list.
Whatever non-fiction about whatever topic hits my fancy or brought to my notice. My interest is broad, so I have no idea what non-fiction will hit my fancy.

The only book I can come up right now is the new Nick Harkaway which Paul already mentioned.
I usually don't have a list of new arrivals, I have enough "old" books to read in that I keep track of new releases (S&L is the only real place where I actually pay attention to this stuff.)

Oh Gosh, so many awesome books coming out this year.
Mike Carey (and his wife and daughter Linda and Lynn)has a new book out in March, and while I'm disappointed that it's not a new Felix Castor book, The Steel Seraglio looks really interesting.
Elizabeth Bears next (and last?) New Amsterdam novella Ad Eternum is due in March. Alternative history with vampires and sorcerers. Yes! I pushed the boat out on this one and ordered the signed limited edition, because I am a lunatic.
Also by Elizabeth Bear, Range of Ghosts, which is book one of her new trilogy, which I've seen described as Lord of the Rings meets Arabian Nights.
The final book in Gemma Files Hexslinger series (psychotically evil Aztec gods, sharp shooters with mommy issues, preachers calling down swarms of locusts, old West, pinkertons, mayhem) A Tree of Bones is out in May.
An A-Z of the Fantastic City, which I feel like I preordered in another life time is out some time this year.
Oh, and I do believe the last book of the Wheel of Time may be out late this year.

I looking forward to "The Twelve" by Justin Cronin in Aug/Sep.
Other than that I'm looking forward to discovering some new authors.

Thanks. I have read a lot of his comic (recommend you all do too), but not any of his books. I will look them up.
Re: Wheel of Time. I know I risk an uprising by saying this, but I am on the Dark Lords side. Kill 'em all and put us all out of their misery.

His Felix Castor books are excellent, highly recommend them especially if you liked his work on Hellblazer, the first one is The Devil You Know.
*edit*
I almost forgot one, Sarah Monette's new book, The Goblin Emperor should be out this year from Tor under her pen name Katherine Addison.
It's not in their Spring 2012 catalogue though, so not til September at the earliest. :(
*edit*
One more, because I just gat an email about it, Terry Pratchett's new book, The Long Earth, co written with Stephen Baxter is out in June. It seems to be a huge departure from Pratchett's usual fare, and should be interesting to take a look at.

I am currently almost halfway through the Great Reread of The Wheel of Time in preparation for A Memory of Light. One the one hand, I'm looking forward to having the ending to that series in my hands. On the other hand, I'm still in book 6 and moving slowly, so I can wait.
I'm crossing my fingers, toes, eyes and any other bodily function in the hope that Scott Lynch's "The Republic of Thieves" comes out this year.
Been so long!! I miss the Bastards. :(

I'm hopeful for this too. Gollancz's last update said Autumn 2012, I shall believe that until I hear otherwise, and Lynch seems to be doing better too (insofar as you can judge such things at a massive remove), and he has an awesome new girlfriend.

Mr. Lynch is having his site updated at the moment. So fingers crossed for some Bastard news! http://www.scottlynch.us/
Oooh nice place holder.
The word from Epic ConFusion is that Republic of Thieves will be hitting the shelves this year (vague spoilers for RoT)

Okay one more (or not, clearly 2012 is a bumper year for me and my bookshelves.)
Cory Doctorow's new YA novel Pirate Cinema is due in October.

I'm eager for:
Whispers Under Ground, due out at the end of May;
A Memory of Light, expected to drop in November. It is the last book in the Wheel of Time main series, and I can't wait.
And the new Jim Butcher book, which hasn't been announced, but they tend to come out one a year.
I'd like to put Patrick Rothfuss's Door of Stone on the list, but I don't think we have a release date yet. It's unlikely for this year, but still. Too bad we don't know anyone that knows him or anything.

Whenever Bujold's next Vorkosigan book comes out, which is about Ivan Vorpatril.
Throne of the Crescent Moon. I really liked his short fiction.
Whispers Under Ground--his series is like a British Dresden.
Kate, thanks for the heads up about Monette's pseudonym.

I echo Skip on the next Dresden story and I believe that the next in the series for the Dies the Fire series is out this year.

You're welcome. I'm so glad there's another Monette fan in the group.
I've just realised how awesome it is that
A Memory of Light will be released in the Chinese year of the Dragon!

The next Mira Grant. The next Dresden, and there is finally a new Harrington announced for this year, which may have Harrington in it for a chapter or two.
Looks like A Memory of Light has been bumped to Jan 8th 2013.

This makes me pouty, I don't mind the extra wait, but that's a terrible time of year for me to try and get the day off work to read it on the release day.
