I am reading "The School of Esential Ingredients"
It's about a cooking school and all the people who attend. So far I love all the food descriptions, it makes me want to cook or take a class!!

I got my nook for Christmas and i can't put it down. The link to google books is absolutely dynamite and i have over 30 books on my nook now to read. The one i am reading now is:
David Bates
Its a free book through googles B&N interface and it goes well with the physical book i am reading:
Ronald C. White Jr.
There was a comparison about the nook and the kindle in the Washington Post today. Although the author was a little negative about the nook, i find that with time i have really grown to enjoy it. The fact that is reads PDF and ePub formats will make it a winner in the long run. I use it several hours a day and charge it once a week.

I just finished

tonight.
Starting on and .
I read the Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle my first semester of junior college. I've been meaning to read it again for some time now.
James: I've read A. Lincoln as well. Such a fascinating man. Reading about his trips by small boat for various errands in his early years really show the kind of upbringing he came from. The relationship (or lack there of) with his father is especially interesting.

I'm reading
- it was cheap from BN.com (less than 3 bucks) and looked funny.
I'm like... 1/4 of the way through - and it's stinkin hilarious. Pretty scandalous, but a fun read for us girls. Gotta love a Chick Flick in book form!

The first book I "nooked" was Half Broke Horses: A True-Life Novel, then I read Bowie: A Biography. I am currently reading, Last Night in Twisted River: A Novel.
Contrary to many reviews, I am finding "Twisted River" to be a very good read. I think the fact that Irving, a very successful writer, choose a writer as his main character bothers a lot of readers (especially if they dream of being writers).... Most of the "inside humor" requires previous Irving reading so it is not a great stand alone book. He writes in some funny 'cameos' by other writers, Kurt Vonnegut, Salmon Rushdie, etc.
I wonder if I can loan this book?

I'm reading
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The beginning drags a bit, but it starts to picks up a little later.
I've been reading the free samples that I got when I bought it and one book I bought which was a waste of money I thought. And maybe one short story. Haven't really gotten into any of the big books I have yet.

I'm actually reading one of the free ebooks from bn, Karen Marie Moning's "Darkfever."
Despite the strange cover and the fact that it was free, I am really liking it so far. We'll see how the rest of it goes... lol.

The Fever series gets better with every book. Since most people consider book 1 to be the weakest of the books, this means that if you at least find book 1 to be halfway decent, then you're in for a good time with the rest of the series.
Awesome, Thanks! I need a new series to get in to. Hopefully this will be the first book I actually finish on my nook. : )
I am reading
. It was so cheap at $0.79! It is a page turner.
Unfortunately, B&N does not have the second in the series in e-book format. I will have to get it elsewhere.

PA and Dystopian books can be very interesting. I've been on the wait list for Uglies at my library for a very long time now and may have to just break down and buy it.
I just finished The Girl Who Played with Fire and I'm going to start Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story this afternoon.
Right now I'm in the middle of The Murder Room: The Heirs of Sherlock Holmes Gather to Solve the World's Most Perplexing Cold Cases which is really fascinating so far.
Oh, I love Anne Bishop, Sarah! She's one of my favorites, with a good mix of humor, magic and romance.
I'm finishing up so that tomorrow morning I can start in on , which I've had pre-ordered for my Nook since it was available. So excited!

I'm currently reading
and
Now that I know that the Hunger Games trilogy is finished, I'll probably read the whole series. (I'm boycotting starting any new incomplete series - one can only do so much Harry Potter and Outlander in one lifetime).

Finished Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story and now I have to find out what happens to Lisbeth in The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.
I'm reading a guilty pleasure -
Dragons are not normally my thing but The Eldest Cycle has been a lot of fun for me.

I decided to read books in the barnes and noble classics series that I have not yet read so right now I am reading.
I am reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. So far a really good read, the images were a little confusing at first. But so far, I think it is a really good book!
