Interesting books Jason. I am not a fan of music interludes in my audiobooks either; mainly because I listen at a higher speed that doesn’t mesh well with music while perfect for the narrative.

Superman and The Authority by Grant Morrison (writer) and Mikel Janín (artist). Saw this at the library and decided to read it because I liked The Big Blue Boy Scout's costume on the cover. It was okay, but I'll need to read the rest of the series to fully enjoy it.
The Camel Club by David Baldacci. I'm definitely a fan of Baldacci. This is one of his mid-2000s works. The Camel Club is a group of individuals who meet to discuss possible conspiracies and other happenings and what the do about them, led by a man named...Oliver Stone. The club stumbles upon a real doozy of a conspiracy the crazy train just doesn't stop till the end. There's multiple POVs, so the story jumps from Stone to a Secret Service agent named Alex Ford to the head of a fictitious counter-terrorism agency to terrorists and more.
One oddity about the audiobook is that there was music. It played at the beginning, the end, and at the end of each section. It wasn't bad, but it did feel gimmicky, and I had trouble hearing the narrator at the beginning because the music was louder than him.
Loved the book and would recommend it.
