Hi everyone!! Looks like a great team :-) Renee- glad we are on a team challenge again as Uncover It was my first!
Lovely coincidence isn't it? I am just too happy that we are on the same team again! And I consider it 3 because you are still a Raven for me, even if you aren't there! :)
Yes, of course :-) while The Badgers are my new loves I will always love my Ravens ;-) and on that note, hi to Ashley as well!

I had a look at the team spreadsheet, and there seems to be a spell it out word pre entered there.......a bit of strategic planning....anyone have a yellow cover or books towards spelling out Dandelion?

I have a yellow cover book as well as books to match letters O, A, I, L.
Although the yellow cover doesn't spell out Dandelion.

Hi Everyone!! *waves*
Renee!! Nice to see a familiar face :)
I have a few yellow covers, but only two that might work:
by Eliza Crewe or that has a character Ivy. Not sure if there is enough yellow in the first one though?
looking forward to getting to know you all :)

here is the stuff about the spell out
Spell out the word(s) using the first letter in the book's title, the first letter in the author's first or last name, or the first letter of a character's first, last, or nick-name, or the first letter of the series name. As always, if the first letter of a title starts with an indefinite or definite article ('A', 'An', 'The', etc.), you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word. If you are listening to an audiobook, the first letter in the narrator's first or last name also can be used
and the covers have to be 50% or more of the color

Here's a cheat sheet I made for myself to keep everything straight:

Rereading color: same points, but no additional completion points

Author's first or last name
Characters first name, last name or nickname
First of a series name
Audio - first or last name of narrator

I started reading a book in the last couple of days - Darkhouse which fits the D (both title and character). I am about a third of the way through. Is it ok to stop reading it now and restart on the 22nd so that I finish it during the challenge week or must I have started it on or after the 22nd?
The rules say it doesn't matter when you start the book, as long as you finish it for the week we are on.
You guys are all over it!
Can you all please add a link to you Wheel-a-thon shelf when you get a chance.

I believe so, then the next week they will spin again and we'll start a new one.

We have a head start on the word for week one. Each week the wheel will be spun again and each team will get a new word. If you have a look at the second page on the spreadsheet, there is a list of all the possible words.
I have a yellow cover book, which will work
- character Laura
O -
N - - character Nora Bridge
E - by Jeffrey Euginides
L -

Great Emma! I will be starting this one soon but will ensure that I don't finish it by 22nd. Shouldn't be a problem as I have too many books to read in between! Lol!
