Ch 8
- [ ] I like how normal this chapter was, it was nice to see Hun-Kame and Cas acting normalish like drinking coffee while discussing plans, even if there plans involves being seduced by a god

Ch 9
- [ ] It was sad to see class division between the people of the same city. Back then it was would have been frowned upon to be with different people from you. It is truly sad and heartbreaking
- [ ] I almost forget they were looking for his missing limbs. Almost

Ch 10
- [ ] Man Hun-Kame is very weird but interesting
- [ ] First being offended that she squeezed his hand and to laugh when she tried to let go ? He is definitely a strange but interesting god

Ch 11
- [ ] Oooo this was really interesting, I enjoyed learning more about each gods power.
- [ ] How cool it would be to know have the power of prophecy, but it seems it’s also not good to have it as well
- [ ] I don’t like that Hun-Kame is become human as he spends more time searching for his limbs, I just hope whatever Cas is doing to interfere with his plans it works out for them

Ch 12
- [ ] That was such a terrifying and sweet chapter!
- [ ] Poor Cas losing her hair and then meeting them Creatures! How awful
- [ ] But it is sweet that Hun-Kame finds her pretty even with shorter hair

Ch 13
- [ ] Oh no! Martin has found her!
- [ ] How she should have accepted Hun-Kame’s company!

Ch 14
- [ ] Yes! You tell him off Cas! I loved this chapter
- [ ] Martin deserved everything he was thrown and so much more!

Ahah I just finished this set as well, we’re twins! Anyway yes, love your thoughts, I also believe Martin deserved that and more! Cas should’ve slapped him ahah. I was honestly heartbroken for Cas when she had to cut her hair (I’m also really attached to my hair, I take a lot of pride in it, so I feel her pain) but it was so sweet when Hun-Kame complimented her. Hun-Kame is definitely becoming more human-like and beginning to understand emotion more, which is really interesting to see! He’s a strange god, but I like him. I can’t wait to see some more interactions between Hun-Kame and Cas, I feel like they’re becoming better friends and I find it really nice, because they both need a friend! I’m also beginning to enjoy the writing style much more, and I’m glad we had a little more dialogue and everything in this set. Overall, I think this set was an improvement from the first 7 chapters, and I’m excited to continue the book and see where the storyline goes!

Hahahah so true! Yes! She should of slapped him silly 😜
Omg yes! I was wide eyed when Hun Kame said her hair had to be cut! But I am glad he said she has other features that make her pretty and it wasn’t just her hair 🥰 I am loving Hun-Kame more and more with those little moments!
Yes having more dialogue and more chapters from Cas POV was good too. I felt like the first 7 chapters were bouncing around too many povs too quickly for my liking

yeah those little moments are really sweet🥰.
hopefully we can both continue the book soon! i made the foolish mistake of waiting until this weekend to start an ARC, and it's due tomorrow... so that's my main priority right now, but i hope to read the next set soon x

You know I never complain! Take your time, i hope you enjoy the arc! I have an arc due 7th April so after this one I’ll probably read the arc before April’s BR :)

read through your thoughts - agree that it’s an improvement from previous chapters, although the author from time to time dumps loads of info at once or chooses to tell more than show.
Martin deserved what he got thrown his way and more. ahhh what a douche.
I’m in love with Cas and how self-aware she is. hair cutting episode was painful to read and I genuinely felt sorry. while Hun-Kame is so amusing and I’m very interested how his story will end.

don't worry, Karen and i are still reading the book as well, you can finish the book whenever! there's no time limit :)) we'd love to hear your thoughts.

yeah there is a bit of info dumping :/ and martin is a definite douche! i also really like Cas as a main character, i hope you continue to enjoy the book :))
