I can't believe K Mo took Dani's character all the way there. I know I had some theories about as much but jesus

I have it. I'm at work about to lock up for a bit and tear it up.

I downloaded it this morning, but work is too busy to listen to it. I'll have some time when I get home.

Made her lose hope with projections into her head? He is war! and Dani's like the ultimate soldier! Not to mention her two sides are battling it out. I can't.
I couldn't stop reading because I was hoping so bad she'd snap out of it! Change her back, now! I was so anticipating her reappearance, and when she did it was awful. I always wanted Dani to be super badass but not that way! It's like K MO killed off her character.. no, worse! (hide spoiler)]

ALSO WHAT THE FUCK AT DANCER MAN. What the fuck! I did not like him in that little scene, and I wanted to kill him when Papa Roach mentioned he was interested in some female musician. Don't trust him at all! I had a theory pop up into my head when I was reading but I can't remember it now.. lol

I think Dani's character is sort of following the Mac theme, just in a slightly different way. Ryodan will being Dani back we know that, I'm thinking definitely the next book, maybe in the middle or towards then end, and now in the same way as Barrons brought Mac back.

Thank god I'm not the only one!! (view spoiler)[ I literally cried reading her scenes! I hated Jada, hated that it was one more thing imprisoning her. I wish it didn't go this route. Ryodan's insights about Dani just about slayed me, it made it so much more sad. Like when he saw her with the mimes and was going to kill her and then she laughed... I can't! I just cannot! I don't want a cold Dani, what made her character so great was her lust for life. I know it's gotta change, I just need to see it happen like.. right now!

Haha Hey Kristen :) I definitely think that the silver lining is the character development of Ryodan! I am so obsessed with him! Oh my god, so perfect. So hot! Btw, still hated Jo. Not happy with what happened to her. Maybe I'm feeling a bit vindictive but...

I don't know but I can't keep following Jada. I didn't want Dani to stay child like by any means, but this is fucking extreme!

I loved how we got to see how much Dani means/meant to Ryodan. that is really what saved the book for me, but it only made shit that much sadder

(I have a talent of putting a Harry Potter reference into everything) Mac was actually better in this book, but I think that was because she was acting a little more like Dani did in iced. She was funnier and she lusted over, like, every guy. The part about Mac that still pissed me off though was how powerful she thought she was. She kept saying she was the most powerful on the board. Give me a break. It also took her for freaking ever to forgive Dani, and yes to admit she was to blame. I was kind of surprised Ryo didn't beat her up for that. Damn her. I would of taken it as my silver lining if she would of been wacked off. And what she said about Dani and Mac in previous books. She also needs to be taken down a few, she seems to think WAY too much of herself and no one seems to dispute it.

yeah that's Mac's entire problem, she thinks she is the most powerful when she does not even come close! Yeah she was better in this book but she also does go on about how dicks are beautiful. It was a little much, she doesn't carry humor as effortlessly as Dani did.

That she didn't follow her was pushing it, but then to not do everything in her power to fix it was like, unforgivable! but I can see Dani forgiving her, when like she really shouldn't.
Also, Mac has a meltdown and decides to be a bartender at Chester's? What even? I got way too many thoughts rn

(view spoiler)[Did anyone else find all of Mac's issues distracting? I felt myself getting really annoyed with her POV. I liked that we got to spy on all of the other characters, but man, Mac really bugged me in this book. It felt as though she didn't feel guilty enough to want to fix things, or there were times when she was concerned about the wrong things at the wrong moments.

Mostly, I'm just really pissed at her because of Jada. I see pieces of Dani leaked through Jada, and I wonder if Jada is just an excuse and Dani is really still in there. Only, well, acting like Jada. (hide spoiler)]
