Fun and easy to read with many good plot twists. I do not exactly understand why Keralie did what she did to her parents. (view spoiler)[ Like I understand her crashing the boat, but why the heck would you run away? That's just plain mean to your parents who love you and not even bothering to visit your dying father. (hide spoiler)]

I have also heard from other reviewers that this book is problematic in the terms of eugenics, the beliefs and practices of improving the genetic population, and in burying its queer characters.
